摘要: 从上海国际化大都市建设和规划管理实践的角度，着重阐述上海城市发展面临的主要挑战、城市更新的基本原则及重点任务，指出了未来上海城乡规划工作的主要方向。
Abstract: This article analyzes the main contents of Shanghai’s challenges, basic principles and main task of urban regeneration with the perspective of developing the metropolis and the practices of urban planning administration. Also it provides a clear direction for the urban and rural planning of Shanghai.
