公共空间复兴背后的故事——记纽约高线公园转型始末

摘要: 以纽约高线公园为例,通过文献资料查阅,以及对纽约相关区划法的解读,梳理出其从废弃的铁路食品运输线成功转型为纽约标志性公共空间的背后动力,以及转型过程中各方利益的权衡与协调,旨在将对高线公园的关注视角从大众熟知的景观空间设计转向对从设计理念提出到最终实施的全过程的解析,从公共空间管制的角度聚焦高线公园转型始末,探讨良好的城市公共空间的形成机制。
Abstract: Taking the High Line in New York as a case study,the author, consults the literature materials and interprets the relevant zoning ordinance of New York,so as to find out the driving force which has been successfully turning an abandoned railway into a symbolic public space and the coordination approach for all parties in the transformation process.This paper focuses on the procedural design of the High Line rather than the well-known landscape design.Meanwhile,it will explore the formation exchanism of good public spaces through the management of public spaces surrounding the High Line.
