摘要: 吉隆坡三十余年推行的多媒体超级走廊城市扩张发展战略将历史悠久的首都吉隆坡和行政新都布城、新高科技产业中心赛城以及新的吉隆坡国际机场连接起来。对这一规划的实施和影响进一步剖析，阐明这一重大举措加剧了马来西亚各种族之间的分隔，也导致政府和市民疏远，使吉隆坡老城不仅由占少数的华族和印度族裔社区主导，也成为持不同政见群体的聚集地。
Abstract: The over-riding strategy of Kuala Lumpur planning in recent decades has been the development of a “Multimedia Super Corridor”
linking the historic federal capital of Kuala Lumpur with (1) a new administrative national capital of Putrajaya, (2) a high-tech
industrial center termed Cyberjaya and (3) a new Kuala Lumpur International Airport. An effect of this planning has been to heighten
the racial divide in Malaysian society, also to isolate the government and its administration from civil society; a ‘second-order’ effect
has been effectively to hand the historic city and its institutions to the minority, innovative and entrepreneurial Chinese and Indian
ethnic communities, also to groups that the government would consider dissident and ‘suspect’.
